OFF-line UPS

In this type of supply, power is derived directly from the power line.
The device switches from the primary (main) to the secondary power source (battery)
whenever it senses a loss of power.
"Off-line" means that it is a passive device, which stays in standby when the primary power source is active

Line-interactive UPS

This type of device features a microprocessor that monitors voltage quality and reacts to variations.

Any sudden or sustained power surge or brownout triggers the booster (circuit and/or regulator transformer), ensuring constant power supply to your devices.

Online UPS

On-line UPS use permanent double-conversion to eliminate any electrical disturbance that might damage your computer."Double-conversion" means that all the power is converted from AC to DC and back to AC, and is fully regenerated.
